Narrative Description of my Search Strategy

I will conduct my literature review to examine the best nursing interventions implemented by ICU nurses to reduce delirium incidence in adult critical-care patients. A detailed search strategy was developed for the following electronic databases CINAHL and PubMed, for the time period 2016 – 2021, using English language only and human-only studies. A broader search strategy was undertaken to locate articles using the following search terms, delirium OR Psychosis, Critically ill OR ICU patients and, Nursing Intervention OR Best Practice OR Prevention.
