Reflect on your literature review; how do these guides and checklists apply to your selected studies?

These checklists and guides are designed to be used when we are reading research. “Critical appraisal is the process of systematically examining research evidence to assess its validity, results, and relevance before using it to inform a decision” (O'Brien & Broughton-Pipkin, 2017).

I need to know the design and type of study that I want to appraise before using them because there are different checklists for different study types. After selecting the appropriate CASP checklist, I will answer all the questions.

Which critical appraisal checklists are you going to use?

I will be using the CASP checklist as I have used it before and  it is easy to follow.
